Following a great deal of research the Guild linked in with the 'Blackthorn School of Phototography', a specialist photographic teaching centre based in Wiltshire..but its tutors teach around the country.

The centre is a centre of excellence in digital photography covering the skills needed for the modern photographer with exceptional mentors who have a unique insight into photography. The principal tutors are Panel members Chris Milne and Simon Young who combine a truely unique understanding of the psychology of eyesight with experience at the highest level. They have worked hard to devise a comprehensive range of photography courses for the complete beginner through to the advanced photographer, and covering all subject areas.
