Help
We've been working hard making lots of improvements to the site, and as the new site has lots more facilities than the old one, we thought you might appreciate a little help finding your way around.
So we've written some notes to help you with some of the things you may want to do. This is a work in progress, so if you have questions that we haven't answered here, please let us know, and we'll add the answers!
Logging in and account details
So, I have two usernames and passwords?
Yes. We would have loved to be able to have just one login for both, but it wasn't technically possible.
- You have one login for the members' section of the site: this is a username and password, which we sent to you recently. The username is based on your name (eg fredbloggs). These let you view the members-only pages, and chat in the forum.
- You have another login for the directory: this is your email address and a password which you chose when you joined the Guild. These let you log in to edit your directory entry.
Where do I log in?
- You can log in in to the members area and forum at http://www.photoguild.co.uk/wp-login.php (or via the link at the top right of the site).
- You can log in to the directory at http://www.photoguild.co.uk/directory/members/login.php.
How do I change my email or password?
- For the members' site: first log in. Then look at the very top right of the page for the welcome message, and a link which says Membership Details. Click on that, and you will be able to edit your password, your name, and your email address. Don't forget to click Update Profile to save your changes!
- For the directory, first log in. Then click on Add / edit your contact details / listing. You will then be able to edit your email address and password. Don't forget to click Update to save your changes!
Help, I've lost my password!
