Nigel Hawkins has just passed 'qualified' status in both the Guilds wedding and portrait sections. Nigel's passion for photography developed in the 1980's (if you'll pardon the pun) when as a serving police officer he started to undertake photographic duties for his Constabulary – A role he undertook for the next 20 years. The 1980's were also the time he started to shoot weddings.
The Devon based photographer joined the Guild last year and said "I am delighted to achieve Qualified status. To be judged by experts in our chosen field and to reach a standard is really encouraging for me and a tremendous boost to my confidence."
